An exhibit of very rare objects obtained mainly by Carlo Sacco during his trips to Asia, but also documents bearing witness of a significant colonial occupation from several european countries. Rare paper documents alongside a great deal of photographs covering mainly wars' scenes and expeditions, but also objects, ancient coins, stamps and various evidences of italian modern history. A collection of every day items emerging from the past with the marks of various succeeding generations. Every item has its own history: chinese ancient pottery rediscovered in the south China sea, amulets, rare photographs and documents' findings of expeditions among others, form part of a unique exhibit which reveals itself to the curiosity of general public and whoever wish to explore the connection of every single item with man's history. These unique artifacts indeed witness moments of lives lived and a lost world which it's up to us to revaluate.
